The most fundamental way to illustrate data changes over time is through line charts. Especially when we want to visualize multiple data series simultaneously or when we have more than 20 data points, the most suitable solution is a line chart. Since only a single line is drawn within the entire plotting area, line charts offer a very clean reading experience.
