A chart where we position data points based on the values of two parameters in our dataset is called a scatter plot. Depending on whether there is a relationship between the visualized parameters, we can reflect interpretation of different scenarios. If we aim to illustrate a relationship, we place the influencing parameter on the x-axis and the affected parameter on the y-axis. Scatter plots are used to analyze how changes in x affect y, that is, to identify trends, and examine clusters, and outliers if there are any.
