If what matters to us is comparing categories’ specific breakdown rather than comparing all combinations between two categorical dimensions, we can use a multiple bar chart where bars of each breakdown start from the same baseline. Just like in clustered and stacked charts, changing the position of categories can reveal different comparison stories. It is beneficial not to use time related data for breakdowns placed on top of another.
